The food was delicious, the service staff very friendly, and overall a nice atmosphere. There is a deduction for the relatively neglected and unkempt building. Plaster is peeling off in parts, colors on the wall are inharmonious / inappropriate, the outside facade towards the parking lot has come down. Overall, a renovation would be necessary so that it could get a 5-star rating, the location of the inn has the potential for that.

Delicious and very nice ambience. I had the vegetarian Indian curry, a bit spicy, but really great with the rice.

Big portion. The menu is very varied. The good thing is ... they have some vegan dishes too. The view over Lake Constance is a dream when the weather is nice. The mountain panorama is still the icing on the cake.

After a long time again for dinner in the pub. Surprisingly great service, fine food and a great atmosphere. I left happily and positively. Had a bad experience and haven't been there for a long time. BUT it looks like the team has thought about it and made a big difference! Class🌻🍁🍀

Nicely located, cozy beer garden, also very pleasant inside. Friendly staff, quick service and preparation of the dishes. The food was very tasty, plentiful and in varied combinations. There is something for everyone! Fairly priced! Great overall package! It makes sense to reserve in advance as it is usually very well attended.

I've been a guest here a few times and I've always been satisfied. But today I was already disappointed: I waited a long time because there weren't enough waitresses in the jam-packed beer garden. The friendly, hard-working service at our table earned good reviews. About the (deficient) food: The salad lacked both vinegar and salt. My steaks (turkey / pork) were small, very dry, and badly seasoned. My fries were good, but the ketchup that was specially requested and consumed was missing. A child's second serving of french fries was in the fryer for way too long. My wife's salmon tasted good, but it was too long in the pan ... and unfortunately also dry. Overall just not satisfactory. You can do that much better! Basic problem - too few staff. School grade for today: 4-5 Conclusion: If I had not already been entertained better, I would not come again after today. It's a shame, because I was really looking forward to the pub.

Good food and amazing views

Great restaurant on the beautiful Gehrenberg. Have been here several times and would love to come back. The food is very good, the service is good. I think it's great that the memory card isn't too big. There is something for everyone and it is still clear. On our last visit we sat in the theater. Also an experience that you should have seen.

A lovely restaurant on an splendid location, views of the Bodensee from a distance. The food is a high quality, very flavoursome. We are regular visitors to Germany and have been to the restaurant on other occasions .

Finally a restaurant on Lake Constance that follows the corona regulations. Mouth guard on mouth and nose, disinfection of table and chair, distance from the other table. In addition, great, attentive staff and delicious food. Full marks ... I am absolutely thrilled.

The food is great in terms of quality and taste. The prices are accordingly here. When the weather is nice, the outside area is really nice and the view is fantastic. The condition is nice and the food came pretty quickly. Definitely recommendable.

Here we took a short break after a hike and ate a piece of cake. From the terrace you have a great view of Lake Constance. The service was very friendly and we were served quickly. The cakes and my hot chocolate were really delicious. In terms of price, we couldn't complain. I can definitely recommend a visit here.

We sat in the beer garden and found this very pleasant. The current Corona regulations were observed, the distance between the places was sufficient, a place was assigned by the very friendly staff. You have a wonderful view over Lake Constance to the Swiss Alps. A really nice location. In addition, the food was excellent. In short, an absolute recommendation.

This place has taken root in my heart forever. Excellent food and drink, and the environment is heartbreakingly beautiful. I’ve enjoyed several wonderful dinners here with great friends and can’t wait for my next visit. If you have the chance to try their excellent desserts, I recommend the creme brûlée. A colleague mentioned that I savored the espresso flavored version with eyes closed, as though I was enjoying an opera. This is accurate.

Very very tasty, regional products and good service. A bit loud when everything is busy. The food was delicious and fresh. My vegetable side dish came before my main course, the vegetables naturally got cold in the meantime. It tasted anyway. Overall, something can be fine-tuned in terms of timing.

Loved the food, the atmosphere and the service. Great bio, ecofriendly food. They actually declare where they source their food with as much explanation as they can in the menu. Our family dine at Wirsthaus everytime we visit Bodensee. Its a gem of the region. Thumbs up to the Wirtshaus team!

The Wirtshaus am Gehrenberg is the place to come for delicious food and stunning views. The overview of the town of Markdorf and Lake konstance, sitting outside in the garden under old chestnut trees in a long summer evening is a joyful experience on its self. The food served is delightful, the dishes are creative but balanced and cooked to perfection. Best of all the ingredients are organic and local sourced. All in all a highly recommend experience.

Very good for brunch on Sunday morning, but you should come at the start of the brunch because then lots of dishes are missing.
